By Public Bus:
Bangkok has an extensive bus service
with routes serving every part of the
city. There are both air-conditioned and
non-air-conditioned vehicles, which
provide an extremely cheap way of
getting around town.
Public buses are plentiful and cheap,
with a minimum fare of 3.50 baht to most
destinations within metropolitan
Bangkok. 3 kinds of Airconditioned buses
charge 6-16, 10 and 12 baht.
Airconditioned microbuses charge a flat
fare of 20 baht on all routes. A Bus
Route Map is available at most hotels,
bookshops and the TAT office on
Ratchadamnoen Avenue for 35 baht.
